Convenience and control
- Option to pay for the purchased goods and services directly at merchants
- Access to your funds through various alternative channels:
- At ATM, 24/7/7365 in Bulgaria and abroad
- At a teller desk, in any UBB branch in Bulgaria
- Through the secure UBB e-banking channel, providing options for various transactions with your card account (funds transfers, repayment of due amounts on UBB credit cards, balance inquiry, trade with securities at the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, etc.)
- Option to receive your remuneration, scholarship or pension directly onto your card account
- You receive preferential interest on the Bank’s products for individuals in case of having your salary or pension transferred to account with UBB
- Option for depositing cash at certain UBB ATMs
- Option for payment of utility bills from the card account

Security
- Chip card – higher level of protection
- The access to your funds is restricted by the entry of a PIN code, known only by you. You can change your PIN at any time only at UBB ATMs, and in case you forget it, a new one will be issued to you!
- Option to be informed by the Bank through SMS messages of each card account movement
- You receive a free-of-charge SMS for each transaction exceeding BGN 100
- In case the card is lost or stolen, you can block it immediately by calling UBB Card Center 24/7 at (+359 2/ 811 26 25; +359 2/ 980 22 35) or +359/ 0700 11717 (Monday - Friday, 9:00-21:00h.)
UBB gives you the following options to choose from:
- Card brand: Maestro or VISA Electron
- Account: New or existing current account with the Bank in BGN, EUR or USD
All transactions initiated with the card at UBB POS/ATM terminals or at teller-desks, shall be immediately posted and you will always have up-to-date account balance at your disposal!
