MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform research and prepare tax opinion on tax implications on acquisitions/sales of assets (incl. financial assets and exchange of assets) as well as on launching new products;
- Provide tax opinion on the bank agreements with vendors/clients;
- Assists in review and/or preparation of corporate income tax return;
- Assist in the effective tax rate calculation for the purposes of the new minimum corporate income tax rules (Pillar 2);
- Ensure proper application of tax legislation and in particular Corporate Income tax, VAT and WHT;
- Involvement in KBC Group tax discussions and participation in Group tax projects;
- Participate in preparation of transfer pricing documentation;
- Follow up changes in tax legislation and inform the Management;
- Provide support in communication with tax authorities and effectively communicate with external advisors on specific topic.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or other relevant to the position;
- Relevant tax experience in a consulting company, in-house or tax administration;
- General knowledge of Bulgarian and international (EU and OECD) tax legislation and guidelines;
- Good computer skills – MS Office;
- Excellent command of English is a must (written and spoken);
- Proactive and result driven;
- Team player;
- Able to take responsibility;
- Analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details;
- Able to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
