Application

Debit Mastercard® and Visa Debit offer all manners of payment and cash withdrawal. You can make contactless payments in Bulgaria and abroad at POS terminals, designated with the respective sign. Prior to making a payment you should inform the merchant that you wish to pay in a contactless manner. Then, you should approach the card to the specified device and hold it until the POS terminal produces a beep sound. In case the sum you are paying on the territory of Bulgaria is up to BGN 100, you will not be required to enter a PIN code. However, if the sum exceeds this amount, you should enter such code. In case the commercial site does not provide a contactless payment option, you may pay with your card in the standard way, requiring you to hand it over to the merchant.
