18 March 2026

More than 40 volunteers have enrolled in the Cyber4.Kids platform, through which UBB has announced long-term partnership on the topic

United Bulgarian Bank (UBB), part of the KBC Group, launches yet another initiative for promoting the 2026 European Money Week. Those who are interested can take a quiz on the bank's website to test their knowledge and find out their areas of info gaps where they need to catch up. Based on the results, they will learn how they have been categorized, namely:  „Piggy-bank Owner“, „Strategist without a Strategy“, „Lord of the Money“ or „Financial Guru“. The test is available here: European Money Week | United Bulgarian Bank.

Meanwhile, only UBB volunteers are more than 40 people, who have registered as trainers in the Cyber4.Kids platform. Days after announcing the partnership between the Bank and the social project, people from all over Bulgaria expressed their willingness to become involved in the national network of volunteers, which is being organized around the platform. Thus, they will contribute jointly to making adolescents aware to a greater extent and their becoming better prepared for the potential cyber risks, including those linked to online payments, usage of banking apps and others.

The enrollment of volunteers in Cyber4.Kids, and in schools, that request training for their pupils is currently underway and will continue even after the European Money Week - the initiative, which is being organized on an annual basis by the European Banking Federation and has as its aim to focus the public attention on the financial literacy and on the need of initiating active measures and activities for its enhancement.

UBB is among the leading financial institutions in this country, consistently engaged in the enhancement of the financial, insurance and social security culture, vocational guidance, creating useful habits in the field of investments and prevention of digital risks. The activities and the initiatives, organized and promoted by the Bank within the 2026 European Money Week, are part of its overall strategy for sustainably resolving the issues, linked to the enhancement of the knowledge and skills of individuals in the finance domain and their more responsible attitude towards the management of personal funds.
