Following the approvals of all regulatory authorities, Anna Atanasova - Dimitrova officially assumes the position BoD MB Member and Executive Director Retail Banking at UBB. On 9-th December 2024 the Bulgarian Commercial Register officially entered the change in the Management Board of the largest bank in Bulgaria.

Anna Atanasova - Dimitrova replaces in this position Ani Angelova, who decided to withdraw from the Bank’s management this summer. The new Executive Director Retail Banking of UBB has in her CV more than 20 years of experience in the field of retail and SME banking.

She started her career as an SME Lending Expert in 2001 with UnionBank. In 2005 she joined CIBANK and held consecutively various managerial positions in the domain of sales to the SME segment. In 2016 she became Deputy Director of Branch Network and Distribution Channels Directorate, while later that same year she was appointed to the Marketing Director position, with responsibilities for the development of retail products and digital sales. Since 2018 she has been managing the Branch Network Directorate, while since 2021 she is General Manager Branch Network.

Anna Atanasova - Dimitrova holds a Master’s Degree in Banking from the University of Veliko Tarnovo and a Bachelor’s Degree in Macroeconomics from the University of National and World Economy.
