The Chief Executive Officer of UBB and Country Manager of KBC Group for Bulgaria will be one of the participants in the first discussion panel during this year’s edition of the Financial Forum Innovations event. The event will be held on 2nd June in Sofia, and its organizer is the Bank of the Year Association.

Christof De Mil will be one of the speakers in the first panel of the forum on the following topic: „Banking after the AI revolution: the new model, new client, new balance of forces - the new reality“. The leader of the biggest banking and insurance group in this country will provide his stance on the questions as to how AI changes the meaning of banking, by distributing it into new updated categories, how much time will elapse until we see back offices without any physical presence, digital assets – how close we are in Europe and in Bulgaria to tokenized assets and others.

The panel moderator will be Lyubomir Tilev - Executive Director of IBM Bulgaria - and it will involve leading bankers and experts in the financial digitalization field.

The panel will be opened with the keynote presentation of Peter Van Hees, Innovation Manager of КВС Group, and later the forum will be also joined by Tatyana Ivanova - Executive Director Digitalization, Data and Operations at UBB.
