UBB AD supports the Stage at the Crossroads International Festival

UBB AD is a major sponsor of the Stage at the Crossroads International Festival that is to be held, by tradition, between 10th and 23rd of September 2013 in Plovdiv. The support for this cultural event is part of the Bank’s long- standing commitment in the field of Arts and Culture in Bulgaria.
This year we are proud to be partners of the Stage at the Crossroads – one of the most significant cultural events in Bulgaria, Ms. Anka Kostova, Manager PR and Sponsorship Unit at United Bulgarian Bank, said.
She took part in the press conference held yesterday in Plovdiv on the occasion of the upcoming opening of the festival on 10th of September 2013. “I am happy with the fact that the festival attracts an ever increasing number of culture and theater fans each year. This is a sure indication that the efforts in support of arts do not go unnoticed, Mrs. Kostova said. The press conference was opened by Prof. Stefan Danailov – founder and artistic director of the festival - and Mr. Ivan Totev, Mayor of Plovdiv municipality, hosting the event.
This year the program of the Stage at the Crossroads includes various impressive performances, art meetings, outdoor workshops, exhibitions and shows. During the festival visitors will have the opportunity to be among the first who will watch the premier of Vazvishenie (Eminence), directed by Ivan Dobchev, as well as Zhensko tsarstvo (Women’s Kingdom), directed by Marius Kurkinski, Almost an Evening, directed by Yavor Gardev, Garvanat (The Raven), directed by Bina Haralampieva and many other productions. The theater event will be closed with the Horata ot Oz (The People from Oz), starring Tsvetana Maneva, Atanas Atanasov, Vezhen Velchovski, Stefan Valdobrev and Radena Valkanova.
Performances start every day at 19.00 and/or 19.30 h. at the Boris Hristov House of Culture (former trade union house) and everyone who is willing can buy tickets from the ticket office of the Drama Theatre in Plovdiv, as well as from the ticket office close to the theater columns and especially opened for the event.
