The promo campaign will continue until 05.08.2025, and with it the Bank is going to support the process of collection and exchange of BGN cash earlier than the date of adopting the euro as an official currency in Bulgaria. UBB info sources emphasize that the campaign scope does not include depositing of cash by third parties, nor depositing of coins.
„Being a leading bank on the market we have our share of responsibility and mission to support our customers and all citizens in the entire process of adopting the euro in Bulgaria. The collection and exchange of the cash money is an essential issue for all countries upon adopting the euro and there is no reason to believe that in Bulgaria things will happen in a different way. That is why it is important to do our best to make this process easier for individual customers and provide them with the needed comfort and security during this significant change for Bulgaria.“, shared Christof De Mil, Chief Executive Officer of UBB.
Along with that, while following a flexible policy with regard to fees and by creating much better conditions for its customers, UBB offers special parameters upon applying for a „Comfort“, „For Salary“, „Premium“ or a „Privilege“ package during the period 09.06.-05.08.2025. They will not be charged a package maintenance fee for the first year of using the product. After expiry of the 12-month period a fee will be charged as per the Fees and Commissions Tariff for Individuals.
