In the presence of the financial, business and political elite, on 5 July 2004, Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD received, for a second year in a row, one of the most prestigious distinctions in the field of banking - “Bank of the Year 2003” award of PARY Daily. The Selection committee, with a Chairperson - the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Mrs. Kamelia Kassabova and 16 other members, representatives of the Government, press, international, financial and non-government organizations selected the winners in the five categories by 18 criteria. The dynamic growth and the efficient development were considered as the most important points in selection and nomination of the financial institutions.

The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Georgi Parvanov, handed the award.
