UBB obtained a statuette and a diploma as a Gold Partner of SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria. This was made at a dedicated ceremony, held on 27.02.2025 at Metropolitan Hotel in Sofia city during the ninth edition of the One Family annual awards, by which the association distinguishes partners that have been upholding and supporting its activity.

UBB is a traditional partner of SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria, as the support of the organization is an important aspect of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy, targeting children and young people in this country, the socially vulnerable groups of the population, the protection of children at risk from cybercrime and others.

SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria is the first civil human rights organization in this country, which renders direct care. This association provides a family and a healthy environment for the development and upbringing of children, deprived of parental care or at risk of losing the protection of their parents. It provides a family-type of support and actively stands up for the rights of children and young people. This year the association marks 35 years since the launch of its activity in Bulgaria.
