UBB and the companies of the KBC Group in Bulgaria are stopping the dual visualization in euros and leva in stages 12 August 2026

United Bulgarian Bank (UBB), part of KBC Group in Bulgaria, is gradually discontinuing the dual visualization of amounts in euro and Bulgarian lev. This follows the expiration on 8 August 2026 of the period for mandatory dual display of fees and transaction amounts in euro and lev, as stipulated by the Law on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria.
