Dear Customers,

Due to transition to new and improved card platform, starting on June 1st, 2015 Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD will offer issuance of new contactless debit cards with chip - Debit MasterCard, Visa Classic and Visa Electron, which will gradually replace the existing products.

The new debit cards have advanced functionalities, the major of which are are the possibility for contactless payments and the automatic registration for 3-D Secure code for payments on the Internet.
As of 1st June 2015, Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD terminates the issuing of debit cards with a magnetic stripe only - Maestro, MasterCard Standard, Visa Electron and Visa Classic and discontinues 3-D Secure service (for secure payments on the Internet) with those cards.

The servicing of the already issued debit cards will continue until their expiry date. For those products the last amendment of the General terms and conditions for payment accounts and services, debit cards and Raiffeisen ONLINE for individuals, version from 01.11.2014 onwards, excluding Section VII.4. Secure payments in Internet remains in force.

Current customers using those products have the right to inform Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD in written prior to 01.06.2015 that they do not agree with the changes and the contracts shall be terminated without adverse consequences of termination. If the written objection is not submitted prior to 01.06.2015, the changes will be deemed to have entered into force.

Upon the expiry date of the cards or prior it upon your request, the old debit cards will be reissued as improved cards of a new generation - contactless debit cards with chip - Debit MasterCard, Visa Classic or Visa Electron. For your convenience, the new debit card will be issued with your existing IBAN (account) at Raiffeisenbank.

You can request and receive your new contactless debit card in your servicing bank office. In case you prefer to visit another office of the bank, please contact us at 0700 10 000 (Vivacom) and 1721 (Mtel and Telenor) to transfer the card accordingly.
