UBB Branches with extended Saturday service after the introduction of the euro
09 January 2026
Following the successful introduction of the euro as Bulgaria’s official currency, UBB is taking additional measures to provide greater convenience to customers during the first weeks of the transition. The aim is to ensure smoother and more comfortable service during a period of increased demand for cash operations, currency exchange, and inquiries related to the first days after the switch to the euro.
To provide faster service and reduce weekday traffic, some of the bank’s branches will be open
exceptionally on Saturday, 10 January, between 09:00 and 14:00.
Customers will be able to:
- carry out cash operations;
- exchange Bulgarian levs into euros under the current conditions;
- receive information and assistance regarding services related to the transition to the euro.
This measure is part of our commitment to stay as close as possible to our customers during this important period for both individuals and businesses. By offering extended Saturday service, we aim to give customers more time and peace of mind to complete the necessary operations, avoid queues, and eliminate the need to visit our branches during the busiest weekday hours.
