Execution of fund transfers to and from the United Kingdom in line with the expiry of the transition period, with effect from 01.01.2021

This is to inform you that the date 31.12.2020 marks the end of the transition period for withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland („the United Kingdom“) from the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
To this end, with effect from 01.01.2021 foreign currency fund transfers to and from the United Kingdom will be treated as fund transfers outside the EEA and will be charged according to the respective tariff rates from the Fees and Commissions’ Tariff for individuals and business clients:
- Outgoing fund transfers in a currency other than euro, as well as fund transfers in euro outside the EEA;
- Incoming fund transfers in a currency other than euro, as well as fund transfers in euro outside the EEA with BGN equivalence up to BGN 200;
- Incoming fund transfers in a currency other than euro, as well as fund transfers in euro outside the EEA with BGN equivalence exceeding BGN 200.
