UBB Asset Management and KBC Asset Management N.V., Belgium have become one whole

KBC Asset Management N.V. Belgium and UBB Asset Management, both part of the Belgian financial group KBC, have announced that they merge. In Bulgaria the company will be represented by the branch, registered here and operating under the name UBB Asset Management.
The legal merger is yet another step towards consolidation of the business of the Belgian group KBC in Bulgaria. After KBC Asset Management N.V. Belgium has become sole owner of the capital of UBB Asset Management AD in 2020, the integration aims at efficiency and quality enhancement through further expanding the scope of the asset management activities in Bulgaria.
There will not be any changes, affecting investors, as a result of the legal merger. The company will continue offering the same products and managing the same funds, while meanwhile improving their effectiveness and positioning. The value proposition for investors comprises mixed funds, such involving multiple assets, as well as specialized local funds, the ExpertEase funds of КВС, in line with clients’ comfort zone, as well as funds, which units combine an investment and an insurance component (SIVEK Global funds). The company will continue operating through the distribution network of United Bulgarian Bank.
