UBB with a New Digital Service: Filing of Insurance Claims in UBB Mobile

Customers using the bank's mobile application can now submit their insurance claims to DZI directly through the app
As proof of the added value of the unique bank-insurance model of the KBC Group companies, UBB launched a new service for the market in its mobile banking app. The possibility to submit claims through UBB Mobile has been developed for some of the most frequently used insurance products of DZI: Casco+, Property Insurance and Motor Third Party Liability Insurance (MTPL).
The functionality is accessed through the "Insurance Claims" menu, where the customer can file claims and monitor their status. The process includes faster handling of claims, without a visit to a DZI office and the possibility to check the status of the claim.
In UBB Mobile, customers can take out insurances with DZI entirely digitally, such as Motor Third Party Liability Insurance, Travel Assistance Abroad Insurance and Property Insurance. When applying for a new consumer loan, they can request life insurance with it.
The novelties in the latest mobile banking update do not end here. In the new version of UBB Mobile, users can now extract a reference document for the IBAN number of an account and present it to a counterparty, insurer, employer or whoever needs one. It is important to clarify that this is a service to assist and facilitate customers, however it does not constitute an official bank certificate.
Also, with this version of UBB Mobile, the login time in the application has been optimized, which already happens even faster.
