UBB removes the fees on payments of utility bills until the end of the year
27 May 2020
United Bulgarian Bank AD (UBB) continues to create financial relaxation solutions for its clients. All individuals that pay their utility bills via mobile banking UBB Mobile, online banking UBB Online or by visiting a branch of the Bank, shall not owe a fee of BGN 0,20 for every bill paid, which fee was valid until now. The promotional campaign will be effective until the end of the year and aims at encouraging regular payment of utilities and the use of digital channels as a secure way to effect different payments. So far the payment of utility bills has comprised 25-30% of all financial transactions effected via UBB mobile banking.
Besides transfers for utilities, via UBB Mobile you can quickly and easily effect fund transfers online in BGN and EUR using a fingerprint or facial recognition - between own accounts, to third parties or to the state budget, as well as monitor the balances and the account movements. You can also use the mobile application to request a debit or credit card, and a consumer loan in the amount of up to BGN 35 000. Clients can open a deposit, block or activate cards in real time, or defer credit card purchases.
“By analyzing the clients’ behaviour and the usage of bank products and services, we came to the conclusion that the utility bills payment is the mostly used service, common for all households. We remove the fees on those payments until the end of the year, on one hand, to facilitate the households, and on the other - to stimulate the use of digital channels, via which it is easier to effect those monthly fund transfers.“, commented Peter Andronov, Chief Executive Officer of UBB.
