Changes to General Terms and Conditions of UBB AD for payment services for business client

Dear Customers,
We hereby inform you of the following changes to General Terms and Conditions of UBB AD for
payment services for business client, which will enter into force as of 07.08.2026, as follows:
• Amendments to Articles 3.4 and 3.6: A new option is introduced allowing customers to
submit and update documents, data and information required under anti-money laundering
and counter-terrorist financing legislation, as well as other regulatory requirements, not only
at a Bank branch but also through the Digital KYC Platform for Business Customers.
• Amendment to Article 7.17: The Bank’s rights to restrict access to UBB Mobile are expanded
in cases where a security risk is identified, including suspected unauthorized use or fraud,
detection of malware on the device, or use of the application on a compromised
(rooted/jailbroken) device.
• Amendments to Articles 13.3 and 13.4: It is clarified that, in cases involving factual or legal
complexity, the Bank may extend the period to provide a final response to a complaint,
provided that the total response period does not exceed 35 business days from receipt of the
complaint. In addition, customers are given the option to refer disputes to the Conciliation
Commission for Payment Disputes as an out-of-court dispute resolution mechanism, in
addition to their right to bring the matter before the competent Bulgarian court.
