The customers will be able to receive the loan in every one of the 45 offices of the bank. The amount of the loan varies from BGL 500 to BGL 12 000, while the interest rate is 12,50% p.a., for a term of 5 years

The total number of the bank’s branches reached 45. The newly opened offices offer a full range of bank services for corporate and institutional clients, small and medium enterprises and private customers.

The loan is truly a landmark transaction being the largest syndicated loan ever arranged for a financial institution in Bulgaria.

The granted amount of the “Microcredit” is between 1 000 to 7 000 levs. The repayment period is up to 24 months in equal monthly installment, including interest and principal.

The promotion includes a free of charge VISA Classic, with annual card fee waived for the first year. The offer is valid until the end of September 2004.

Half of IFC’s investment takes the form of long term loans to Raiffeisen International’s subsidiaries in Russia, Romania, Belarus and Ukraine. The other half is an option to invest equity in Raiffeisen International, if needed for the further expansion of the group.
