Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) generated a profit before tax of € 240 million in the first three months of 2014, a decrease of € 11 million or 4.6 per cent versus the comparable period of the previous year.

Raiffeisenbank has launched a promotional campaign on newly issued MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Gold, Visa Classic and Visa Gold credit cards. During the campaign customers will not pay any interest rate for purchases and cash withdrawals. In addition, during the promotion, customers will not be charged a fee for withdrawals at Raiffeisenbank’s ATMs and at all other ATMs, whether in Bulgaria or abroad.

Neonatal ventilator for premature infants worth BGN 25 368 was purchased with funds from the campaign"Choose to Help" initiated by Raiffeisenbank and already operates in the Department of Neonatology of the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment "Haskovo".

Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) was again awarded the title of "Best Bank in Austria" by EMEA Finance magazine. The award was officially presented at the "European Banking Awards 2013 Ceremony" in Warsaw last week. Raiffeisen Bulgaria won the category for “Best Investment Bank” in the country.

Raiffeisenbank launches Open Days of housing loans, during which the clients can take advantage of the new promotional offer for a mortgage loan. Documents of clients requesting for a mortgage loan until June 30, 2014 will be processed free of charge. During the promotion new borrowers are exempt from commissions of absorption, engagement, and loan management. Additional preference for clients within the promotion is that they will not owe a fee for early repayment of house loan.
