More than 1000 saplings of the Pinus sylvestris species were planted by the employees of United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) and the KBC Group companies in Bulgaria last Saturday.

EUR 101 393 or BGN 198 307 have been raised within the 16th edition of the donorship program of United Bulgarian Bank, entitled „Choose To Help“. These funds have already been transferred to the relevant organizations, and the realization of their projects is now underway.

As of today, UBB officially kick-starts the donation campaign under its Choose to Help programme. 20 projects of non-governmental organizations and educational institutions from all over Bulgaria have been shortlisted for the donation phase of the programme and seek financial support for their realization. This campaign will continue until the end of 2025. Projects have been split into four key domains – Healthcare, Social Activities, Culture and Education and Protection of the Environment.

This initiative is part of the VODIM long-term programme for clean water from the spring to the tap, launched this autumn by equipping five schools with smart filtering machines.
