300 runners joined this year’s edition of the UBB Vertical Run, held on 12 November 2025 at the UBB Millennium Center building. This is a record in terms of the number of participants in the extreme race, which is being held for a fifth time at Sofia’s banking hub.

As of today, UBB officially kick-starts the donation campaign under its Choose to Help programme. 20 projects of non-governmental organizations and educational institutions from all over Bulgaria have been shortlisted for the donation phase of the programme and seek financial support for their realization. This campaign will continue until the end of 2025. Projects have been split into four key domains – Healthcare, Social Activities, Culture and Education and Protection of the Environment.

Bulgaria’s financial and academic elite gathered in the Aula Maxima of the University of National and World Economy, to discuss the most sensitive issues, linked to this country’s accession to the Eurozone. The Euro Days at the UNWE are being held on 5 and 6 November, and are being organized jointly with the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and the UNWE’s Institute of Policy and Economics.

This initiative is part of the VODIM long-term programme for clean water from the spring to the tap, launched this autumn by equipping five schools with smart filtering machines.
